There are two types of people in this world: people who whine and people who drink wine. Personally, I prefer the second type of people. That being said, when I find a good wine, I’m hooked.
While there’s no shortage of good wine, it’s always exciting to try something new, especially when it’s as amazing as Terrazas De Los Andes.
Terrazas De Los Andes, which when translated means terraces of the Andes, is made in Mendoza, Argentina. Their vineyards are located in the center of Mendoza’s Lujan de Cuyo and Uco Valley, surrounded by the Andes. Terrazas De Los Andes features four varieties of wine: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Torrontes and Chardonnay, each spectacular in their own way.
As if the gorgeous vineyard location weren’t enough to set these delicious wines apart, each of their grape varieties are planted at different altitudes, in order to allow the individual varieties to benefit from their optimal ripening conditions.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with Terrazas De Los Andes’ Brand Ambassador, Dino Altomare, at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival last weekend and not only did Dino give us some background on himself and Terrazas De Los Andes, but we were also able to sample the wine for ourselves. After sampling Terrazas De Los Andes, it’s safe to say we won’t be drinking anything else for quite a while.
