Chipotle Mexican Grill is back and better than ever!
While the restaurant chain’s revenue did suffer following their E. Coli outbreak, they managed to persevere and they just launched a six-episode children’s video series, in partnership with CAA Marketing and The Magic Story.
“RAD Lands” is now available exclusively on iTunes in the U.S and Canada with the sole purpose of teaching children and their parents where the food they consume comes from.
“Chipotle is ensuring that better food is accessible to everyone,” said Mark Crumpacker, Chipotle’s Chief Marketing and Development Officer.
“We created “RAD Lands” to educate young eaters and their parents about food in an entertaining and engaging way. We don’t advertise to kids so the show is completely unbranded. We hope that it sparks conversation and curiosity among families, ideally leading to smarter and more informed choices about food.”
“RAD Lands” is focused around a segment called “The Cultivators,” in which a rebel group sets out to save the galaxy’s plants and animals. “RAD Lands” features celebrity chefs, musicians and YouTube personalities including “Top Chef” winner, Michael Voltaggio and Flaming Lips Frontman, Wayne Coyne.
Chipotle hopes that by using marketing tools like “RAD Lands” customers will forget about the hardships the company faced and instead focus on all the good they do.
